Twelve Tribes - Clergy Fitted Atarah
This tall it was designed for clergy who prefer a narrow fitted Atarah to use on the Bima. Each tribe is beautifully represented in bright colors, surrounded by a protective shield. The text on the neck band is from Exodus 24:4. It is the first time that Moses recognizes the importance of the Twelve Tribes. “He set up an altar at the foot of the mountain, with twelve pillars for the Twelve Tribes.”
The fabric is 100% Kona Cotton. The thread is polyester.
The tzitzit are cotton and are tied according to the Sephardic tradition - 10/6/5/6 representing the letters that form God’s name: Yud, Hay, Vav, Hay.
The tallit measures approximately 69 inches long (not including the tzitzit), 2.5 inches at the neck, and 5 inches along each bottom edge.
Each tallit is made to order. It will take 3 - 4 weeks for delivery.
